Λαὸν ἑὸν κέλεται λόγος εὐνομίῃ συνέσει τε
εὐφραδέως νόμον ἐσθλὸν ἐνὶ κραδίῃσι δεδέχθαι·
λώϊον ὧδε γὰρ ἕρδειν ἡμέας ἠὲ θεοῖο
οὐ πινυτῇσι φρέσιν τεράτων ἐπιπάγχυ λαθέσθαι.
