Contextual information Eustratiades (1924: 197) reads: 'Θεοῦ μὲν τὸ δῶρον ἐστί, Φιλοθέου δὲ τλήμονος πόνος.' while Kadas (2000: 207):
'Θ(εο)ῦ μέν ἐστι τόδε τὸ δῶρον· Φιλοθέου δὲ τλήμονος πόνος:-' It is only Notara (2000: 262) who offers a metrical reading to the text.
