Palaeographical information The first dodecasyllabic line of the poem is presented as the title, following after the indication of Zygabenos as the poet. The first letter of line 2 is enlarged, marking the actual incipit of the epigram. This text division is pretty common in other occurrences of this type as well.
Contextual information The poem is followed by another epigram, inc. 'Ὡς ηὐδόκησεν ὁ κρατῶν στεφηφόρος'.

Comment The folios on which the epigram is written are heavily damaged, resulting in lacunas in the transcription. The text has been transcribed using a reproduction of a microfilm of the manuscript, where the bottom part of the folio is barely readable.
