Palaeographical information |
The first dodecasyllabic line of the poem is presented as the title, following after the indication of Zygabenos as the poet. The first letter of line 2 is enlarged, marking the actual incipit of the epigram. This text division is pretty common in other occurrences of this type as well. |
Contextual information |
The poem is followed by another epigram, inc. 'Ὡς ηὐδόκησεν ὁ κρατῶν στεφηφόρος'. |

Comment |
The folios on which the epigram is written are heavily damaged, resulting in lacunas in the transcription. The text has been transcribed using a reproduction of a microfilm of the manuscript, where the bottom part of the folio is barely readable. |
