Comment Vassis gives separate titles for two parts of this poem, which he therefore divided into three parts.
The first part (vv 1-2); Vassis (2005: 358): 'Ἱδρῶτι πολλῷ καὶ πόνῳ συσχεθέντες Librarii nota: PKB III 228 [2]'.
The second part (vv 3-4).
The third part (vv 5-7); Vassis (2005: 42): 'Ἄναξ ἀνάκτων, Χριστὲ καρδιογνῶστα Librarii nota: PKB III 228 [3]'.
The first two parts are typical scribal epigrams whilst the last part seems to be unique.
