Comment According to Lucà (2025: 177), an anonymous scribe resposnisble for several codices "messinesi" also participated in the production of the Barberinianus. The scholar thus suggests that the manuscript was likely written in the scriptorium of the Monastery of S. Salvatore in Messina. However, Lucà does not rule out the possibility that the Barberinianus was assembled in Rossano.
