Contextual information The epigram accompanies a miniature of Christ Pantokrator flanked by the symbols of the four evangelists in the four corners. It is preceded by another epigram, inc. 'Σὲ Χριστὲ ποθῶν καὶ σοὺς ζωηροὺς λόγους', and followed by the scribe's words: '+ ναὶ δυσωπῶ διὰ τὸν κ(ύριο)ν:-'.
