Palaeographical information Written in red ink in cryptography: '+ ψς ωχνψεοεωψβ ψσν πθοσν, αεσ υθϡϙω:+'. Meesters (2020: 344): 'The riddle can be solved by dividing the alphabet in three equal parts and mirroring the letters against the axis of ε, ν and φ.'
Contextual information The verse is preceded by three other epigrams and a prose colophon and followed by another prose paratext.
