Comment |
According to Krasnosel'tsev (1885: 39), the manuscript has been written by metropolites Theodoulos during his stay in Moscow, as he was suffering from an illness (ἐν τῇ Μοσχοβίων πόλει, μετὰ ἀσθενείας καὶ μακρονοσίας καὶ κόπου πολλοῦ - colophon on f.270v, see ibid., 39-40).
Theodoulos traveled from Constantinople to Novgorod and Moscow to 'collect alms.' See the DBBE person entry for the RGK and PLP identifiers. |
