Contextual information The following non-metrical text precedes the epigram: 'Νικήτα τοῦ καὶ Δαυὶδ, δούλου Χριστοῦ, τοῦ φιλοσόφου, ἑρμηνεία τῶν τετραστίχων τοῦ Ἁγίου Γρηγορίου τοῦ Θεολόγου, οἷς ἐπέγραψεν οὕτως' (cf. Picard (2022: 1823)).
It is followed by Gregorios of Nazianzos' Tetrasticha along with scholia by Niketas.
