Contextual information |
The epigram is preceded by the non-metrical title 'τετράστιχα οἷς ἐπέγραψε οὕτ(ως)'. It is followed by an ornamental bar, another poem on Gregorios of Nazianzos and the following non-metrical text: 'Νικήτα, τοῦ καὶ Δαυὶδ, δούλου Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ, τοῦ φιλοσόφου ἑρμηνεία τῶν τετραστίχων τοῦ ἁγίου Γρηγορίου τοῦ θεολόγου, οἷς ἐπέγραψεν οὕτως'. Then follows another occurrence of this epigram and Gregorios of Nazianzos' Tetrasticha along with scholia by Niketas. |
