	ἰουλίου, καίσαρος κομμόδου χάριν·
	ἡ χεὶρ μὲν ἡ γράψασα τήνδε τὴν βίβλον,
	οἰχήσεται ναὶ κἂν φθαρῆ καθὰ κόνις·
	ὁ λαμβάνων δὲ τήνδε χερσὶ καὶ βλέπων,
	θάνατον εἰς νοῦν καὶ κρίσιν λαμβανέτω·
	μνήμην τε κᾀμοῦ, κἂν μακρὰν εἰμὶ λίαν:-
