These verses (and the alike) were added by a second hand, which was slightly later than the main scribe of the codex (11th c.), according to Ioannidis (1868: 109). Ink is red or firebrick. |
Contextual information |
The epigram precedes the Gospel of Matthew, along with another book epigram, inc. 'Ὡς μαργάρους δέδωκε Ματθαῖος λόγους'. The two poems are only separated by means of a cross in the margin. |
