Palaeographical information These verses (and the alike) were added by a second hand, which was slightly later than the main scribe of the codex (11th c.), according to Ioannidis (1868: 109). Ink is red or firebrick.
Contextual information The epigram precedes the Gospel of Matthew, along with another book epigram, inc. 'Ἐνταῦθα τὴν θέλγουσαν εἰκότως λύραν'. The two poems are only separated by means of a cross in the margin.
