Palaeographical information Written in the right and lower margin.
There is no clear separation between this epigram and the preceding poem (occurrence 31253), so they could be considered as a single poem (cf. Bértola 2022: 341, n. 17).
Contextual information The epigram accompanies Thucydides' Histories 1.63.3, where some other manuscripts have the normalized reading τρόπαιον instead of the Attic form τροπαῖον transmitted by this manuscript (see Luzzatto (1999: 62-63)). Above this word in the main text, the same signe-de renvoi can be found as the one used for the previous verse scholium (inc. Ἱππῆς τις ἐξώρθωσε δίφθογγον γράφων'). Tzetzes didn't repeat this signe-de-renvoi at the beginning of this epigram, which he wrote immediately below the previous one.
