Palaeographical information	Written in red ink in the left and right margins by the main scribe. Verses 7-11 are written in the right, internal margin, mistaken for a separate poem. The title 'στίχ(οι)' is repeated at the beginning of v. 7.
Contextual information	The epigram is written next to and comments on Herodotos' Histories 3.23.4.
