Χεῖρες φίλαι, κόλποι τε. καὶ σὺ καρδία·
ὑμῖν τὸ σεπτὸν χρῆμα πιστεύω μόνοις·
ὑμεῖς, λαβόντες, εὐλαβῶς τηρεῖτέ μοι·
τὸ μάργαρόν μου τοῦτο τὸ βρύον χάριν·
καὶ τῆς ἄνωθεν ἀστραπῆς πεπλησμένον·
οὗ κρεῖττον οὐδὲν εὗρον ἐν τοῖς τιμίοις·
οὗπερ τὸ κάλλος θαυμάσας πάντων πλέον,
ὡς ἔμπορος σοφός τις ἀντεκτησάμην·
τούτω τέ πλουτῶ· (καὶ) τρυφῶ· (καὶ) ζῶ πλέον
ἢ πᾶσιν οἷς πέφυκα χαίρειν ἐν βίωι.
Ἀλλ᾽ εὐαγῶς φέροιτο (καὶ) σώζοιτό μοι,
οὕτως ἄχραντον· λάμπον οὕτως εἰς τέλο(ς):
