Contextual information	Hardt (1806b:185) and Vassis (2005: 259) regard the poem as part of one consisting of 23 verses. There is a clear division of the poem into two in the manuscript. This is the second epigram in a series of four, written at the end of Heliodorus' Aethiopica.
