Comment	In at least one occurrence (MS München gr. 157) the epigram is written after Heliodorus's Aethiopica, in a colophon dedicated to Chariclea, attributed to Theodorus Prodromus by Colonna (1938: 371) or to Nicetas Eugenianus according to Bianchi (2010: 13-24; 2011: 57-59). However, the poem can also be found in at least two other manuscripts (both copied by Ioannes Rhosos at the end of the 15th c.), functioning in other contexts.
