πέφηνας π(άτ)ερ παμμάκαρ ἰωάννη.
ὅθεν ἐξύφανας ἡμῖν ἰστὸν θεογνωσίας.
Δι' οὗ πᾶς τις τέμνεται καρδίαν.
καὶ πρόσω βαίνειν τῆς ἧσπερ ἐκέκτητο ἀχλύος.
φωταγωγούμενος σαῖς δαδουχίαις.
εἰς ἔφεσιν γλυκίου πάμπαν.
οὗπερ πολίτης ληστῆς ὑπάρχει.
σῦν σοὶ φέριστε καὶ χορείας ἁγίων πάντων.
ὧν ταῖς πρεσβείαις σωθείημεν πάντες.
