Palaeographical information | Mercati states that the epigram is an autograph and pretends it to be written by Anthimos Chartophylax. However, the text offered by this manuscript is missing at least one verse (Podskalsky (1972: 97)). Some letters were damaged and re-written by a later hand. The text is written continuously but some initials are enlarged. |
Contextual information | The epigram, which is a prophecy on the end of the world, is written before a Psalter. The verses are preceded by an indication of the date which the prophecy is referred to. |
