Πεπλήρωται δ’ ἐν ἔτεσι ἓξ χιλίοις
σὺν ἐννακοσίοις τε τρισκαιδεκάτοις,
ἰνδικτιῶνος ὁμοῦ τρισκαιδεκάτης·
συνδρομῇ, ἐξόδῳ τε καὶ τ’ ἄλλα πάντα
φιλευσεβεῖ ἱερεῖ ὄνομα Μιχαήλ τε
οὗ καὶ τὸ παρώνυμον αὐτοῦ Ἀμαρουκάεις.
Γραφὲν χειρὶ τλήμονι καὶ ἀμαθεῖ τε,
Γεωργίῳ ὄνομα τάχα καὶ ἀναγνώστῃ.
Καὶ οἱ ἐντυχάνοντες ταύτῃ τῇ βίβλῳ
εὔχεσθε τῷ γράψαντι καὶ μὴ ἀρᾶσθε.

pray for the one who wrote it and do not imprecate him.
