	πρῶτα σόλων μηδὲν ἄγαν φάτο εκροπίηθεν·
	δεύτερο(ς) αὖ χίλων γνῶθι σεαυτ(ὸν) ἔφη:
	λίνδιος αὖ κλεόβουλο(ς) ἀγαθ(ὸς) πάις εὐαγόραο,
	μέτρον ἄριστον ἔφη ἔμμεναι ἀτρεκέ(ως):
	καιρὸν δ’ ὑρράδιος κέλετ(αι) πάντεσσι δαήτ(αι)?
	πιττακὸ(ς) ἐκ λέσβου‧ τῷ δ’ ἐπὶ κυψελίδ(ης)
	τὴν μελέτ(ην) περίανδρο(ς) ἔφη πᾶν ἔμμεναι ἔργον
	ἕκτο(ς) δ’ αὖτε βί(ας) τευταμίδ(ης) ἔφατο
	οἱ πλεῖστοι θνητῶν σκολιοί, παῦροι δέ τε καλοί
