οἷς ἐνιθύνοις οἴακα σῆς βιοτῆς
Πρῶτα σόλων μ(ὲν) μηδὲν ἄγαν φάτο κεκροπίηθ(εν):
Δεύτερος αὖ χίλων γνῶθι σεαυτὸν ἔφη
Λίνδιος αὖ κλεόβουλος ἐῢς πάϊς εὐαγόραο,
Μέτρον ἄριστον ἔφη ἔμμεναι ἀτρεκέως
Καιρόν δ’ ὑρράδιος κέλετ(αι) πάντεσσι δαῆναι,
Πιττακὸς ἐκ λέσβου‧ τῶ δ’ ἐπὶ κυψελίδης‧
τὴν μελέτην περίανδρος ἔφη πᾶν ἔμμεναι ἔργον:
ἕκτος δ’ αὖτε βίας τευταμίδης ἔφατο,
οἱ πλεῖστοι θνητῶν σκολιοί‧ παῦροι δέ τε καλοί‧
Ὕστατος αὖτε θαλῆς εἶπ(εν) ἀπηλεγέως·
ἐγγύῃ ἀγχίθυρος ναίει‧ κακομήχανος ἄτη+
