The epigram is written in the four corners of a cross. According to Rhoby (2018: 181), the text is to be read in the following order: top two lines of the left upper corner, top two lines of the right upper corner, bottom two lines of the left upper corner, bottom two lines of the right upper corner, left lower corner, right lower corner. Hörander (2007: 110) however, gives the following order for the first verse: 'Εὕρεμα ἐδώθη ἐκ Θεοῦ Ἑλένης'. |
