Ηκω σέ πάντ' ἄριστε πενθήσων ὅμως∙
εἰ καὶ πρός αὐτόν τόν θ(εό)ν πάντων ἔβης.
βλέπειν ἄδακρυς. οὐ σθένω γὰρ σὸν τάφον∙
ἡμᾶς δὲ αὐτούς. (καί) πρὸ σοῦ φίλτατέ μοι∙
οὕς σαυτὸν εἷλες. τὸ κράτιστον κτημάτων∙
ἀλλὰ (καί) κοσμήσων σε ταῖς εὐφημίαις∙
ὁσον χρέους ἅψασθαι. ὡς οἷόν τέ μοι∙
τὸ γάρ κατ' ἀξίαν σοι, οὐ βροτῶν νόος,
οὐ γλῶσσαι πᾶσαι εἰ συνῆλθον εἰς ἅμα∙
συνεισενεγκεῖν οἶμαι δύναιντ' ἂν ὅλ(ως) :+
