Τοὺς δὲ νόμους ἐχάραξε θ(εὸ)ς δέκα ἔν ποτε πλαξί,
λαϊνέαις· σύ δέ μοι ἔγγραφε σῇ κραδίῃ·
οὐ γνώσῃ θ(εὸ)ν ἄλλον· ἐπεὶ σέβας οἶον ἑνός τε· ||
Οὐ στήσεις ἴνδαλμα κενόν, (καὶ) ἄπνοον εἰκώ.
οὔ ποτε μαψιδίως μνήσῃ μεγάλοιο θεοῖο·
σάββατα πάντα φύλασσε μετάρσια (καὶ) σκιόεντα.
ὄλβιος ἢν τοκέεσσι φέρῃς χάριν ἣν ἐπέοικε·
φεύγειν ἀνδροφόνου παλάμης ἄγος· ἀλλοτρίης τε
εὐνῆς· κλεπτοσύνην τε κακόφρονα· μαρτυρίην τε
ψευδῆ, ἀλλοτρίων τε πόθον, σπινθῆρα μόροιο:· +
