	Φυγὼν ὀδυσσεὺς τὸν μαχησμὸν ἰλίου
	πλῆθος κικόνων, λωτοφάγων τοὺς δόλους,
	κύκλωπος δεινὸν ὄμμα τοῦ βροτοκτόνου,
	τὴν λαιστρυγόνων ὠμότητα καὶ κίρκις,
	τρόπους ἀδήλους καὶ μεμηχανευμένους,
	ἅδου τὸ φρικτὸν καὶ τὸν σειρήνων φθόγγον,
	πέτρας τε πλαγκτὰς καὶ χαρύβδεως στόμα,
	σκύλλης τὸ δεινὸν καὶ βίαιον ὡς ἔφη,
	υἱοῦ χεροῖν τέθνηκεν ἐν τῆ π(ατ)ρίδι:+
