Unique epigram, specifically composed for Sin. gr. 364, a book commissioned (or given to) Constantine Monomachos and the co-empresses Zoe and Theodora (between 1042 and 1050, see Harlfinger 1983: 23). Inscription running in a frame around a miniature depicting the imperial family (Constantine, Zoe, Theodora), protected by Christ and angels.
Strong link to epigram, which perfectly describes what is depicted in the miniature.
