According to Spatharakis (1976: 34), the portraits represent Konstantinos X Doukas, his wife Eudokia and their son Michael VII. Anderson-Canart-Walter (1989: 25), however, argue that the miniature depicts Alexios I Komnenos, Eirene Doukaina and their son Ioannes II Komnenos. |
