Πλωτὴρ γέγηθεν ἐκ πελάγους ἀγρίου
σώζων γαληνῷ λιμένι τὴν ὁλκάδα·
χαίρει δὲ μᾶλλον ὁ γραφεὺς τοῦ βιβλίου,
τιθεὶς τὸ τέρμα καὶ τὸν ἔσχατον στίχον.
