	βησσαρίων μεγάλης εὐσεβὴς ὁσίης
	ὃν πόντος μὲν γείνατο· εἶχε δὲ γαῖα κρόνοιο
	κῦδος ἄρ’ ἑλλήνων αὐσονίων τε μέγα
	κεῖτ’ ἐν σήματι τῶ φοιτᾶ δ’ ἀν’ ἀπείρονα γαῖαν
	εὐφυίη· σοφίη· ἤθει· εὐφραδίη
	ὅν τ’ ἐπιεικῶς ἔθνεα πολλὰ κλαῦ(σε) θανόντα
	κλεινὸς ὅ γ’ αἰεὶ ζῆ πρά(...)ει καὶ συνέσσει

Comment	This occurrence is not a book epigram strictu sensu, but its scribe, Georgios Hermonymos, belonged to the same intellectual circle as the dedicatee of this epigram, Basileios Bessarion. The first letters of vv. 10-11 are not visible on the reproduction in Orlandi (2022: 68).
