	κῦδος ἂρ ἑλλήν(ων) αὐσονί(ων) τε μέγα \|
	κεῖτ’ ἐν σήματι τῷ· φοιτῇ δ’ ἀν’ ἀπείρονα γαῖαν
	εὐφυίῃ σοφίῃ ἤθει εὐφραδίῃ· \|
	ὃν τ’ ἐπιεικῶς ἔθνεα πολλὰ κλαῦσε θανόντα·
	κλεινὸς ὅ γ’ αἰεὶ ζῇ πράξει κ(αὶ) συνέσει· \|

Verse endings of the uneven verses in this section are indicated by horizontal strokes. 12 ὃν γ’ ἀρ- ] also written at the end of v. 11, but deleted \| δώματ’ ] corr. ex δώματα
Contextual information	The epigram is preceded by a poem of Demetrios Chalkondyles on Theodore Gazes.
