| Comment | The relation to carmina figurata of Publilius Optatianus Porfirius has been pointed out by Follieri (1997), but Hörandner (1990: 11-12) takes the argument further, suggesting the following alterations based on linguistic and paleographical analysis: 3 ] om. 4 ἐπάκουε ] κοίρανε add. | λισσομένοις ] λισσομένοιο corr. The two bifolia (346+349, 347+348 according to the most recent pagination) have been added to RNB gr. 216 from a contemporary manuscript, now lost. See Jernstadt (1891: 258-260) and Hörandner (1990: 10). |
