τάσδε θεογλώσσους ἑλικὼν ἔθρεψε γυναῖκ(ας)·
ὕμνοις (καὶ) μακεδὼν πιερέ(ας) σκόπελος:
πρηξίλλαν· μυρὼ ἀνύτ(ης) στόμα θῆλυν, ὅμηρ(ον):
λεσβιάδων σαπφὼ κόσμον ἐυπλοκάμων:
ἤρινναν· τελέσιλλαν ἀγακλέα κ(αὶ) σὲ κόριννα·
θοῦριν ἀθηναίης, ἀσπίδα μελψαμέναν:
νοσσίδα θηλύγλωσσον, ἠδὲ γλυκυαχέα μύρτην·

Palaeographical information A different hand from the main text copied the ff. 1v-3v, 7r-14v, 394r-395r. The last two verses are written at the bottom of f. 2r.
Contextual information Written together with other epigrams on the Muses (cf. the titles of the chapters of the main text) and a note on the dialects, before Herodotus' Histories. This is the only epigram of the series also attributed to Antipater in the Anthologia Palatina.
