πλοῦτον νοητὸν χριστιανικῷ στίφει·

Translation(s) Come perle diede Matteo discorsi, ricchezza spirituale per la schiera cristiana; questa dunque serbando dentro al petto, amici, fuggiamo il mondo e i vani pensieri, come quegli la sozzura dei publicani, e verso la gioia corriamo a Cristo in fretta.

Comment One more occurrence of the epigram is preserved in the ms. Vat. gr. 2561, f. 1v, where the poem was added by Nikolaos Zampelis' hand in 1620 (see Canart (2010: 326)).
