στίχ(οι) εἰς τ(ὸν) ἅγ(ιον) ἰω(άννην) τ(ὸν) εὐαγγελιστ(ήν):
 
Ὁ παρθένος τί τὸν τεκόντα τὸν κάτω·
Εἰπὼν τεκόντα τὸν θ(εὸ)ν κατὰ μόνον·
Ὡς παρθένος γὰρ, πρὸς τὸν ἐκ τῆς παρθ(έ)ν(ου)·
Λαλοῦντα χ(ριστο)ν, οἷα συγγενεῖς τρέχει·
Ἐντεῦθεν εἰς τὸ στῆθος αὐτοῦ γνησίως·
Πεσὼν ἐκεῖθεν τὴν ἄβυσσον λαμβάνει·
Τῆς γνώσεως καὶ πάντα πλουτεῖ τὸν κόσμον·
Μυστήρια ἄγνωστα καὶ τοῖς ἀγγέλοις·
Θεηγόρος τέταρτος οὖν ἰωάννης·
Εὐαγγελιστής ἀλλʹ ἐν ύψει δογμάτων·
Πρῶτος μέγιστος ἄκρος ἀρχὴ καὶ τέλος·
