Comment | Several poems in this ms. mention different persons who have aided in the realization of this codex: apart from the scribe Iohannes ek Rousion and the sponsor of the ms., Pankratios, are mentioned three other persons: Antonios (hieromonachos), Dios Blasios (ekklesiarches and hierozygos) and Nikodemos. For the dative μήταις see Turyn (1972: 10). The classical poetic word μῆτις (on 3rd declension) was transformed into μήταις (on 1st declension). A similar phenomenon occurs in other cases, like χάρις transformed into χάρη. |
