Contextual information The verses are written, both in Greek and in Latin, on the front flyleaf of the manuscript, and precede the name of the scribe: 'ὁ λάπος γέγραφε πεποιηκώς'. Latin version: 'Si tibi par lingue robur demosthenes esset: Haud macedum regi grecia capta foret'.
