Contextual information	The text is written inside the intricate red medallions, which form an ornamental headpiece. Each verse occupies two medallions. Verses 1 and 5 are preceded by two medallions with a cross surrounded by the inscription 'Ἰησοῦς Χριστὸς νικᾶ'.

Comment	4: τέκος corr. in τέκους manus post. atramento pallido (Canart 1970: 580). See Zorzi (2019: 270): 'La correzione del'accusativo τέκος nel genitivo τέκους, già apportata nel codice da una mano posterior, come notano Turyn e Canart, appare necessaria, in quanto il sostantivo va riferito a Θεοδώρας (v. 2), che è «figlia (τέκους) della sorella» dell'imperatore. Si deve escludere che τέκος possa essere riferito a βίβλον di v. 1, perché in questo caso si dovrebbe intendere che «questo libro» è «figlio (τέκος) della sorella» dell'imperatore, il che non è vero, in quanto chi l'ha copiato non è la sorella, ma la nipote dell'imperatore. L'errore è facilmente spiegabile vuoi per semplice lapsus calami vuoi per influsso dell'accusativo in fine di v. 3.'
