| Comment | According to Kambylis (1968: 22-23), the title that precedes these verses (attributing them to Nicetas) in ms. Paris suppl. gr. 103 does not belong to this epigram, but to the previous epigram, inc. 'ὡς ἄλλον εἰδότες σε θεῖον μωσέα'. He therefore states that these verses are 'ohne Aufschrift' and cannot be attributed to anyone. The Dionysius mentioned in v. 5 probably refers to pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite. |
