	Πονῶν μογῶν ἄμετρα, ταύτην τὴν βίβλον
	τέλει δέδωκα τοῦ Θεοῦ νενευκότος·
	γεννῶσι δόξαν τοῖς φιλοῦσιν οἱ πόνοι,
	τοῖς δ' αὖ ἀεργοῖς, μῶμον ἡ ῥαθυμία.
