Φάναι τὸ φῆσαι καὶ τὸ εἰπεῖν εἰ γράφεις,
ὄξυνε, τέκνον, μὴ περίσπα δυστέχνως·
φᾶναι τίθει δὲ τὸν περισπῶντα τόνον,
ὅτ’ ἂν τὸ δηλοῦν φωσφορεῖν γράφῃς, νέε.
