	Παῦλος μὲν εἷς ἦν τοῖς ἁποστόλοις μόνος
	καὶ Παῦλος εἷς πέφυκεν ἐν τοῖς ζωγράφοις·
	λαλεῖ δ᾽ ἐκεῖνος μέχρι τοῦ νῦν ἐν λόγοις,
	λαλεῖ πίναξιν οὕτως ἡ ζωγραφία.
	Λαμπτὴρ ἐκεῖνος ἁπάσης οἰκουμένης,
	οὗτος δὲ κόσμος ἁπάσαις ἐκκλησίαις·
	εἰ καὶ θέλεις, γίνωσκε τούτων πατρίδας·
	Ταρσεὺς ἐκεῖνος, οὗτος ἐξ Ὑδρουντίων.
