| Comment | The metrical structure of this epigram is problematic, with major issues in verse 2: should the readings διακόνου and γόνος be accepted, it would increase the syllable count beyond the expected twelve. Moreover, the passage αβου ταμρα remains unclear, as pointed out in Granstrem (1959: 232, n.15). |
