If it is a great pleasure for travelers to finish their wandering and get to their homeland, to see their relatives and friends, the kin and neighbours they had before; in the same way may this end be very pleasant for me, if I should arrive at the better books, and gulp down the words of Homer that are sweet and breed sweet-minded people. |
