Palaeographical information The epigram is written in red ink, in epigrafische Auszeichnungsmajuskel. Certain sections have faded and no longer allow for a faithful transcription.
Contextual information The epigram is written above a miniature of the Church Fathers. There is a vertical inscription in the upper left margin: 'τοῦ παμφίλου', referring to the scribe (Georgios Pamphilos), who is also mentioned on f. 1r and f. 4v.
