Contextual information The verses occur in the margin of Constantinus Manasses' Compendium chronicum. They are preceded by the poems inc. ἐκ τ(ῆς) ἄγαν μου τῶν φρεν(ῶν) ἐλαφρί(ας) and inc. αἰτεῖτε κ(αὶ) λήψεσθε, σὸ(ς) λόγο(ς) λόγε.
