Palaeographical information The epigram is written in reddish brown ink, distinct from the tragic text. The letters after 'χόλω βαρυνθεὶς εκτορο(ς) θνήσ' have been faded, at the very right side of the manuscript.
Contextual information Written at the end of Ajax. It precedes the epigram inc. 'τέλο(ς) ἔλαβε τὸ δρᾶμα σοφοκλέ(ο)υ(ς)'
