Palaeographical information The title and the first letter of the epigram are written in red ink.
Contextual information This the first of three epigrams that follow the title on f. 16v. It is followed by the epigrams inc. 'ἡ γὰρ μεγίστη σου | ταπείνωσις π(άτε)ρ' and 'ἡ γοῦν μέθεξις τοῦ φάους ὦ τρισ|μάκαρ'. The epigrams are written in continuous prose text, without any clear division between them (cf. Kambylis 1968: 23).
