	Ἑπτὰ σοφῶν ἐρέω κατ’ ἔπος, πόλιν οὔνομα φωνήν·
	μέτρον μὲν κλεόβουλος ὁ λίνδιος εἶπ(εν) ἄριστον·
	ὃς δὲ κόρινθον ἔ\|ναιε, θυμοῦ κρατέειν περίανδρος·
	κίλλ(ων) ἐν κοίλη λακεδαίμονι, γνώθι σαυτόν·
	μηδὲν ἄγαν πιττακὸς. ὃς γένος ἦν \| ἐκ μιτυλήνης·
	τέρμα δ’ ὁρᾶν βιότοιο σόλων, ἱεραῖς ἐν ἀθήναις·
	οἱ πλείους κακοὶ βίας ἀπέφηνε πριηνεύς· \|
	ἐγκύη οὐ καλὸν, θαλῆς ὁ μιλήσιος εἶπ(εν):~
